In what is arguably boxing’s biggest fight in 2025 so far, Oleksandr Usyk takes on Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night to determine the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world. WBA, WBC and WBO titleholder Usyk bids to unify the division for the second time in as many years as he faces off with IBF champion Dubois in the English capital – with both men reportedly set to bank a fortune for their efforts.
The pair are no strangers to each other, having previously fought in Poland in August 2023. On that occasion, the Ukrainian came out on top, winning via a ninth round stoppage. That contest wasn’t without controversy though, as Dubois believed that he was on the verge of a massive upset when he felled ‘The Cat’ in the fifth with a right hand to the body.
Unfortunately for ‘Dynamite’, referee Luis Pabon ruled that the shot was actually a low blow, resulting in Usyk being allowed crucial time to recover. The 38-year-old made full use of that pause in the action and ultimately went on to take the victory.
Team Dubois were far from happy about the low blow call from Pabon. However, to the fighter’s credit, he didn’t allow the setback to define him. Instead, the Londoner was back in the ring before the end of the year, gaining a much-needed victory over Jarrell Miller.
Dubois followed that success by defeating Filip Hrgovic for the interim IBF heavyweight title. Soon after being recognised as the full champion by the IBF, Daniel made his first defence of his crown against former two-time world heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua. In what was seen as a massive upset at the time, Dubois delivered a career-best performance to demolish Joshua inside five rounds and cement his place among the very best heavyweights in the world.
After such a strong three-fight winning streak, Dubois has earned another crack at Usyk, with the bout taking place on home soil. While the defeated former undisputed cruiserweight champion enters the contest as a deserved favourite, the British underdog has a history of springing surprises. Given the improvements that Dubois has made since the first fight, the clash is a tough one to call.
With that in mind, we’ve enlisted the help of ChatGPT to break down the Wembley blockbuster – and it seems that an action-packed night is in store.

Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois 2 Tipped to be a Tight Affair Early
Neither man is expected to take many risks in the early going
With every major prize in the heavyweight division on the line, it is not too much of a shock to see the technology forecasting a relatively tame first three rounds in Saturday’s main event showdown. Usyk is taken to start slightly better than his opponent and is taken to lead by two rounds to one at the end of the third.
The Ukrainian is backed to extend his lead even further by the midway point of the contest. “Dubois’ pressure wanes as he struggles to cut off the ring,” writes ChatGPT of the Brit’s fortunes between rounds four and six. “Usyk targets Dubois’ head with right hooks, causing swelling around Dubois’ eyes.”

Don’t miss the biggest fight of 2025 so far…
By the conclusion of the sixth, Dubois’ output is predicted to drop, allowing Usyk to take a 5-1 lead into the second half of the bout. In the eyes of the technology, ‘Triple D’ needs a major swing in fortunes to keep his undisputed dream alive. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come.
“As round seven begins, Dubois’ stamina flags as Usyk’s relentless pace takes its toll. Usyk’s jab becomes a weapon, snapping Dubois’ head back and setting up heavier shots. In round eight, Usyk lands a flurry that staggers Dubois, who clinches to survive.” Those survival instincts prove even more vital in the ninth as Dubois hits the canvas for the first time.
“Dubois rallies briefly in round 9 with a desperate power shot, but Usyk’s footwork neutralizes the threat. Usyk drops Dubois with a straight left late in round 9, though Dubois beats the count.”
Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois 2 Predicted to End in Brutal Fashion
The rematch won’t see the final bell according to AI
Although Dubois avoided a stoppage defeat in the ninth round, more punishment is predicted to be waiting for him in the 10th. Despite being badly cut by Usyk’s increasingly brutal shots, the IBF champion makes it into the championship rounds – even though he is deducted a point for a low blow – only for his opponent to close the show in the 11th.
“Usyk floors Dubois again with a counter right hook. Dubois rises but is overwhelmed by a barrage, leading the referee to stop the fight in round 11 as he slumps against the ropes.”
Despite Dubois being the younger man in the ring by some 11 years, AI is not backing youth to overcome experience on Saturday night. The home favourite is picked to last only a couple of rounds longer than he did in the pair’s first encounter, with Usyk tipped to record his 15th career win by stoppage.
AI has had its say, but the real-life version of the rematch is now just hours away, with 90,000 fans set to pack Wembley for the fight. Many of those in attendance will be hoping that ChatGPT has made an error in its calculations and that Dubois can spring a shock win.
