Galatasaray have reportedly made a bid of around €3m for the potential transfer of Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson.
The Brazilian shot-stopper is facing an uncertain future at the Etihad Stadium this summer, despite being a key player for Pep Guardiola’s side for so long.
Man City could now be tempted to make a change in goal, with Fabrizio Romano reporting on them pursuing a move to sign Burnley ‘keeper James Trafford.
See below as Romano’s post on X states that Trafford is a target for City but could hinge on Ederson leaving, while L’Equipe link the 31-year-old as a €3m target for Galatasaray.

Ederson also has other transfer suitors this summer
As CaughtOffside previously reported, Ederson also has interest from Napoli and clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

We were also informed about Galatasaray being in the mix for the former Benfica player’s signature, and it seems they’ve now stepped up their interest in him.
It will be interesting to see where Ederson ends up, but one imagines clubs might have to pay a bit more than €3m for him.
Still, there’s no doubt his value will have dropped after some slightly below-par performances in recent times, with the player no longer at the peak of his powers.
Ederson leaves City as a club legend
If Ederson does leave, though, he is sure to get a warm send-off as he’s arguably established himself as a City legend with the tremendous success he’s had during his time in Manchester.
Ederson has played 372 games for City, winning six Premier League titles, four League Cups, two FA Cups, and the Champions League during his time in England.
