Eintracht Frankfurt have rejected Newcastle United’s opening bid for Hugo Ekitiké, according to Sky Germany.
The Magpies’ offer of €80 million was deemed too low by the Bundesliga club, with other teams having already indicated they would be willing to pay more.
Reports suggest Eintracht are demanding as much as €100 million for the French forward, who has also been linked with several other Premier League sides.
The 23-year-old initially joined Eintracht on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in the winter of 2024.
Six months later, the Bundesliga club made the move permanent for €16.5 million.
