West Ham United are exploring the possibility of signing Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott this summer (h/t the Guardian).
Mohammed Kudus recently joined Tottenham Hotspur, leaving a gap in West Ham’s squad. Elliott has been identified as a potential solution to fill the void.
He impressed for England at the 2025 European Under-21 Championship, scoring five times in six games. Elliott won the Player of the Tournament as England lifted the trophy.
RB Leipzig are monitoring the situation. However, West Ham are hopeful they can steal a march and sign Elliott.
West Ham push for fresh attacking options

Elliott’s ability to play out wide and in central areas makes him a flexible option for West Ham.
He has struggled to earn a regular starting spot at Liverpool and needs to move elsewhere to fulfil his potential. Elliott made 18 league appearances last season, but only started twice.
Liverpool manager Arne Slot has several attacking options, but clearly doesn’t rate Elliott. This could open the door for West Ham to strike a deal.
The Hammers currently have Jarrod Bowen and Luis Guilherme available for wide roles. Crysencio Summerville is another option.
Elliott’s versatility and hunger could be a perfect fit for West Ham, especially with the club looking to bounce back from a disappointing season.
