Lille are pursuing a move for Standard Liège centre-back Nathan Ngoy (22), according to a report this Saturday from L’Equipe. The Ligue 1 side has reportedly submitted an opening bid to their Belgian counterparts. Lille OSC are in the market for a centre-back as transfer speculation mounts regarding Bafodé Diakité.
The Lille centre-back is reportedly Bournemouth’s target to fill the Dean Huijsen-shaped hole in their defense. Ngoy is set to enter his final contract with Les Rouches, which could play right in Lille’s hands. However, Lille and Standard Liège remain far apart in their valuation of the former Belgium U21 international.
