An insight into the ongoing speculation linking Real Madrid star Rodrygo with a move to the Middle East has this week been forthcoming.
And the latest info points towards such reports as being wide of the mark.
Frontman Rodrygo has of course been hotly tipped for a departure from Spain’s capital across the summer to date.
Struggling for game-time at the Club World Cup under the watch of new manager Xabi Alonso, the Brazilian has been linked with a whole host of clubs across Europe and beyond.
One such outfit come in the form of Al-Nassr, where Rodrygo would be afforded the chance to link up with Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo.
As alluded to above, however, if the latest word stemming from the media over the last 24 hours is anything to go by, then no such move, at present, appears to be on the cards.
As per a report from market insider Fabrizio Romano:
‘Reports on Rodrygo and Al Nassr are wide of mark, same as Gabriel Martinelli. Al Nassr are working on different targets and for different budget, not crazy expenses. Rodrygo’s focus is only on European football.’
