SC Freiburg appear to have won the race for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Igor Matanovic.
Eintracht Frankfurt marksman Igor Matanović is reportedly close to joining SC Freiburg.
According to Sky Germany, the Breisgau club are in advanced talks to sign Matanović and appear to have won the race for the 22-year-old, who has also been linked with Stuttgart and Augsburg, among others.
Bild has previously reported a potential transfer fee of around €8 million for Matanović, who is under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until 2029.
The Croatian U21 international featured 25 times for Frankfurt last season – six of those appearances as a starter – and scored twice.
