Die Nullfünfer have received an offer for the Seoul native.
According to reports from Sky Germany, FC Nantes have submitted an offer for Mainz’s Hyun-Seok Hong.
It is believed that the Ligue 1 outfit would like to sign the South Korean midfielder on a permanent basis.
However, it is very unclear if Die Nullfünfer’s would be willing to let the 26-year-old leave so suddenly.
Hong only joined Bo Henriksen’s side last summer in what was a €4million transfer from Belgian club KAA Gent.
The 14-cap international only made 23 Bundesliga appearances for Mainz last season in which he contributed a solitary assist.
