Bild reports that Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus no longer as a future at the club.
Yesterday, it was announced that Neuhaus would be fined and punished for a video that surfaced on social media where he seemingly criticised Roland Virkus.
However, it seems his time at the club is now over, despite having a contract until 2027 and more importantly, being one of die Fohlen’s vice-captains.
Gladbach’s first team will return to training on Friday for their mandatory medical checks before training will properly begin on Sunday. Neuhaus will not play a part in any of this. Which suggests Neuhaus has no future at the club.
This summer, the 28-year-old has been linked with an ambitious return to Fortuna Düsseldorf as well as a move to Augsburg. A departure from Borussia Park will allow him to not only refind form after falling out of favour, but it seems this situation has provided a chance for the two parties to part ways.
