Manchester United have suffered a major financial hit as they have unveiled their new training kit for 2025/26 without a sponsor.
The Red Devils had a sponsorship deal with Blockchain company Tezos, which was worth around £24 million a year. But their partnership with the company came to an end on June 30.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the club sources had suggested a new training kit sponsor would be agreed soon, but they have launched the new shirt without one.
It is also understood there is nothing immediate in the works to agree a new sponsor.
United shared several photos of their first-team players in the new kit on Tuesday, including Mason Mount, Luke Shaw and Leny Yoro.
Alejandro Garnacho also showed off the new colours, despite being linked with an exit this summer.
The news of Tezos’ partnership ending comes shortly after it emerged that Marriott International would not be extending its 2019 sponsorship deal after its contract expired.
The club will now look to agree a new kit sponsor as soon as possible to help balance their books.
United have been in decline since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.
The Manchester titans have won the Europa League and two FA Cup titles but have never seriously challenged for the Premier League.
They suffered their worst ever top-flight finish in the modern era last season, collecting 42 points to end in 15th place.
Manager Ruben Amormim will be expected to bring a huge improvement in 2025-26 given the financial backing he has been receiving in the ongoing transfer window.
