Nottingham Forest have reached an agreement with Lyon to sign Malick Fofana, according to Fabrizio Romano, but are yet to reach an agreement with the player. The Frenchman has a preference to play in the Champions League with Bayern Munich and Napoli also making an approach to sign the 20-year-old attacker.
Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have been linked with a plethora of left-sided players over the summer with the latest being Liverpool’s Luis Díaz. This comes following the departure of Leroy Sané to Galatasaray while the future of Kingsley Coman remains uncertain.
While Bayern’s primary target remains Nico Woltemade, Stuttgart are currently pricing the Rekordmeister out of a move for the 23-year-old with the Swabian club valuing their prized asset at €100m. And although he remains their top priority, Max Eberl and Co. are still in the market for a left-winger. Nico Williams (Athletic Club) and Cody Gakpo (Liverpool) are two other wingers that Bayern Munich have been linked with this summer.
