Paul Wanner could play a key role in Bayern Munich’s negotiations with VfB Stuttgart to sign Nick Woltemade.
With Bayern Munich having agreed personal terms with Nick Woltemade, difficult negotiations now await with VfB Stuttgart.
Reports suggest that Stuttgart are demanding as much as €100 million to let Woltemade go, while Bayern value the 23-year-old at around €50 million.
Given the significant difference in valuation, it’s possible that Bayern will look at alternative ways to make the deal happen – and Paul Wanner could emerge as a factor in the talks.
Kicker speculates that the 19-year-old could be included in the deal after returning from a loan spell at Heidenheim.
According to Bild, there have already been talks between Wanner and Stuttgart, and work is underway for the young attacking midfielder to move to the MHPArena on a one-year loan deal.
