Turkish giants Fenerbahce are looking to strengthen their squad and have shown interest in signing Al-Nassr striker Jhon Duran.
The Colombian forward joined the Saudi Pro League (SPL) club from Aston Villa in January for a fee believed to be over €85 million.
He has now emerged as a top target for Fenerbahce as they aim to challenge for the league title next season.
Journalist Florian Plettenberg claims the 21-year-old is open to returning to European football.
If the move goes through, he could play under Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho.
He is keen to bring in players who will improve the squad and boost the club’s title chances.
Fenerbahce finished second behind Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig this season. The club’s management are determined to go one better in the upcoming campaign.
Signing a proven goalscorer could be the move that makes the difference.
The Turkish giants have also been linked with a move for Manchester City defender Kyle Walker.
Duran is an Ideal fit for Mourinho’s system

Duran had a solid season at Al-Nassr, scoring 12 goals in all competitions. He showed his quality and proved he can lead the line effectively.
The young forward is known for his power, pace and ability to score in different ways. He is strong in the air and poses a threat during set pieces as well as open play.
His hold-up play is also impressive, allowing teammates to join attacks and create chances. Duran often draws defenders towards him, opening up space for others to exploit.

This makes him an ideal option for Mourinho, who values forwards that can contribute beyond just scoring.
Fenerbahce believe Duran’s physical style and eye for goal will suit the Turkish league.
