According to a report from Denmark, Eintracht Frankfurt have pulled out of negotiations to sign Victor Froholdt from FC Copenhagen.
For quite some time, Eintracht Frankfurt have been linked with FC Copenhagen youngster Victor Froholdt.
However, according to reputable Danish football news outlet Bold.dk, Die Adler have now pulled out of negotiations to sign the 19-year-old central midfielder, despite already having reached an agreement with the player on personal terms.
FC Copenhagen reportedly demanded around €24 million including bonuses for Froholdt – a figure significantly higher than what Eintracht were willing to pay, leading to a breakdown in talks.
The Bundesliga club were prepared to offer €14 million plus €3 million in add-ons for the Dane, the report claims.
Froholdt remains under contract with the Danish double winners until 2028.
