The Sierra Leonean, who arrived in the UK on a scholarship as a teen, has carved out an impressive career in Denmark, Spain and England before joining H96.
Hannover 96 have officially confirmed the signing of Mustapha Bundu from Plymouth Argyle via social media.
The Sierra Leonean attacker arrives at the Niedersachsenstadion on a free transfer to become the club’s tenth signing of the summer.
Despite succumbing to relegation, Bundu bagged 10 goals and 6 assists in 37 EFL Championship outings last campaign.
“What’s happening here at Hannover 96 has really appealed to me,” said the 28-year-old in his first interview with the 2.Bundesliga club.
“Something new is emerging here with the new coach and many new players in the team. The discussions have really excited me.
“I want to be there and play for this club, which has a rich tradition, is known in the football world beyond Germany and has many fans,” he added.
