Daniel Svensson spoke to DAZN’s reporter after their third groupstage game at the FIFA Club World Cup.
In the aftermath of Borussia Dortmund’s narrow 1-0 win over Group F opponents Ulsan HD, full-back Daniel Svensson reflected on the game.
The Swedish international voiced his overall satisfaction in grinding out the victory and adding his name to the score sheet.
“I think overall it was a good performance especially in the first-half. We dominated a lot of the first-half and created lots of chances.
“The only thing we missed was a couple more goals. I the second-half, we played a bit slower and let them [Ulsan] in, but overall a deserved win.
“We had the ball on the right and played it in to Jobe. I made a run into the box, he saw me, played me and I tried to finish fast. It’s a very nice feeling to score,” he added.
When asked about the confidence of the team moving forward, the 23-year-old gave a sense of the belief within the squad.
“I think we have been performing better and better. We started slow, but today was a good performance so we’re confident going into the next round,” he explained.
