Real Madrid keeping watchful eye on Woltemade, per Marca

The Swabians will be hoping they can fend off interest from the world’s most famous club.

The latest speculation from Marca is aware of Real Madrid’s recent interest in Nick Woltemade.

Impressive performances at the U-21 European Championships on top of a breakout season at VfB Stuttgart are said to be the reason.

“Sometimes outstanding performances” is how the Spanish news source described the Galacticos’ opinion of the striker.

Suddenly, the 23-year-old is being listed as a potential target for Los Blancos who want to recruit him as a back-up marksman.

In many ways the news comes as no real suprise given Woltemade has already been linked with Bayern Munich and Atlético Madrid this summer.
