While a nice bit of alliteration, fans believe there is more to this than meets the eye, with some speculating that it could hint at when both Milos Kerkez and Florian Wirtz sign for the English champions.

The theory is that the Hungarian defender will be announced on Monday, which will be dubbed ‘Milos Monday,’ leaving Wirtz’s announcement to follow on Wednesday. The German is known to prefer a move to Anfield, having snubbed Manchester City over concerns regarding the club’s stability.

Among the theorists on social media, one responded to the Frimpong Friday tweet saying: “Milos Monday and Wirtz Wednesday innit?” A second also replied with: “Milos Monday and Wirtz Wednesday right?”
