Die Roten Bullen are keen to acquire the services of the 2.Bundesliga top-scorer.
RB Leipzig is considering making a transfer offer for Davie Selke, Sky Germany reports.
Several discussions and meetings have already taken place. Selke is currently available on a free transfer.
In Leipzig, Selke would be neither a possible Šeško replacement nor a regular starter.
Selke is expected – if the transfer is successful – to exert pressure, bring in the mentality, and possibly replace Poulsen, who is allowed to leave the club.
It remains to be seen whether Leipzig will push the Selke deal through. A contract extension at Hamburg remains an issue.
