A section of Barcelona players momentarily joined the club’s supporters in aiming a clear dig at Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. on Friday evening.
This came in the thick of the club’s La Liga title celebrations.
Barcelona are of course fresh off adding to the club’s silverware cabinet on Thursday night.
After putting city rivals Espanyol to the sword by two goals to nil at RCDE Stadium, the Blaugrana ensured their status as Spanish champions for 2024/25.
Hansi Flick’s squad, in turn, embarked on an open-top bus on Friday, as part of a celebratory parade in Catalunya’s capital.
And it was during as much that the aforementioned jibe at Vinícius Jr. was noted.
As Barca’s bus passed through one particular section of fans, the club’s players noticed a beach ball making its way through the crowd.
For those not aware, beach balls have been made use of by the Blaugrana faithful since late last year, in response to Real Madrid attacker Vinícius missing out on the Ballon d’Or.
The likes of Pedri and Robert Lewandowski therefore called for the ball to be passed up onto the bus, a plea which was quickly answered by the supporters in question:
