Multiple outlets report that Leroy Sané has now been given an ultimatum by Bayern Munich in regards to his future, after switching agents.
It had previously been reported that Sané was set to sign a contract extension at Bayern with a reduced salary. However, at the weekend, it was revealed that he switched agents to Pini Zahavi, who does not have the best relationship with the hierarchy at Bayern.
The reason for Sané’s decision is that he is said to be unhappy with the offer that was on the table from Bayern and has stalled his decision.
This has angered Bayern, and they have ultimately given the winger two options, reports TZ München. Sané either accepts the deal that is currently on the table, or he leaves the club. Bild reports that Sané has been given 10 days to make his decision; if a decision is not made, the offer will be withdrawn.
Bayern are unwilling to change the deal and give the 29-year-old more money. This is because they are trying to not only reduce their wage bill, but also do everything possible to sign Florian Wirtz this summer.
If Sané is to leave the club in the summer, London is calling, with Chelsea and Arsenal said to be interested.
