In a surprise twist, Fabrizio Romano reports that Leipzig’s Ilaix Moriba is returning for another loan with Spanish side Valencia.

Ilaix Moriba is returning for the season on loan to Valencia, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. The 19-year-old made 18 appearances on loan at the La Liga club last year, but was pegged to stay at Leipzig for this upcoming season.
Amongst a crowded midfield group, Moriba was struggling to find a way into Leipzig’s squad to begin the campaign. Moriba is a Barcelona youth academy product, who’s contract expires in 2026.
Crystal Palace were also interested in his services this summer.
