Tottenham Hotspur are showing interest in a summer move for Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford, journalist Steve Kay has revealed.
The Lilywhites are believed to be keen on the £300k-a-week England international’s arrival if Aston Villa decide against signing him on a permanent deal once his loan expires.
Rashford is expected to leave Old Trafford in the upcoming transfer window and would reportedly arrive in North London as a long-term replacement for Heung-min Son.
Villa have an option to make his move permanent for £40m after the season, but have yet to decide whether to pursue a deal.

Amid his impressive Aston Villa spell
According to Kay, Tottenham are keeping tabs on Rashford’s situation after opting against a deal for him during the January transfer window.
Spurs instead bolstered their frontline with Bayern Munich youngster Mathys Tel, who could join permanently after the season as the North London club hold an option to buy.
Rashford, praised as ‘electric’, has enjoyed an upturn in form under Unai Emery in recent months, scoring four goals and providing six assists in 17 appearances for Villa.
He also netted in their 2-1 loss at Manchester City on Tuesday, his fifth Premier League goal contribution for Villa since joining.
Tottenham are anticipating a busy summer window amid their historically poor Premier League campaign, but are first expected to resolve Ange Postecoglou’s future.
The Australian tactician is expected to depart North London after the season, even if Spurs win the Europa League and qualify for the Champions League.
Tottenham sit 16th in the Premier League table, having won just once in their last six games.
