French winger Kyliane Dong will join FC Augsburg this summer, the Bundesliga club confirmed on Thursday.
The 20-year-old is set to arrive on a free transfer from Ligue 2 side ES Troyes AC and has signed a long-term deal running until 2030.
“We have followed Kyliane’s progress for a while now and are pleased that he will join FCA this summer,” said Augsburg sporting director Marinko Jurendic.
“Currently a France U20 international, he possesses real athleticism and is a great dribbler. He has lots of potential and a lot of promising attributes that he can hopefully develop in order to become an established Bundesliga player. We are looking forward to working with him and wish Kyliane a good start and all the best at FCA.”
Dong is looking forward to embarking on a new adventure in Germany.
“Our discussions were very positive right from the start and I’m looking forward to taking up this challenge in the Bundesliga and of being here. I really wanted to join Augsburg, as the club are ambitious and provide young players with the optimal conditions in which to continue their development. I will devote all my energy to this new challenge and can hardly wait to get to represent FCA from this summer on,” he said.
