Chelsea have made contact with Juventus about Kenan Yildiz

It wouldn’t be a summer transfer window without Chelsea getting linked with every talented youngster on the planet.

The latest on their radar is Juventus ace Kenan Yildiz. According to Foot Mercato, the Blues have already made contact with Juventus about signing the 19-year-old.

Chelsea are set to continue their talent-hoarding strategy this summer, and Yildiz could be the next high-potential ace heading to West London.

At the moment, the Blues are focused on qualifying for the Champions League and winning the Europa Conference League.

Anything less could spell trouble for Enzo Maresca, whose relationship with the club faithful is already at a breaking point.

While Maresca navigates on-field issues, Chelsea are already planning to shake up their squad again. Yildiz is one of many players on their radar.

The Blues aren’t just window shopping. They’ve not only reached out to Juventus, but are also looking to step up talks with the player’s representatives.

Juventus are aware that Yildiz’s stock is rising fast. Chelsea aren’t the only ones mesmerised by the Turkish prodigy, but they’re reportedly in the driving seat.

While there have been contact between both clubs, Juventus are not enthused about the prospect of losing Yildiz.

They recognise his outrageous potential and are wary of making the same mistake they made with Dean Huijsen, who is now highly coveted just one year after leaving Turin.

Yildiz has four years left to run on his current deal, but Juventus are willing to offer him an improved contract just to fend off interested parties.

The only problem is that they’re not in the strongest position financially, so they could be tempted to sell if Chelsea presents a lucrative offer.

Yildiz has bagged eight goals and five assists in 44 games across all competitions this season.

He is valued at £38 million on Transfermarkt, but if Juventus end up cashing in, they’ll certainly do so at a higher price.
