In addition to Bayern Munich’s long-term absentees, Thomas Müller and Jonas Urbig were also absent from the club’s training session on Wednesday.
According to Bild, both players missed the session due to a cold, casting doubt on their availability for Saturday’s match against Mainz.
Urbig has been fin goal for Bayern in the past weeks, with Manuel Neuer recovering from a calf injury.
Neuer also missed Wednesday’s training session due to load management as he continues working towards his return.
If neither Urbig nor Neuer is fit to play against Mainz, Daniel Peretz will likely start in goal.
