Sport Bild reports that VfL Bochum coach Thomas Reis is in danger of losing his job.

Both sides aiming for first league win of the season

VfL Bochum coach Thomas Reis has come under pressure after a poor start to the season that has left the club bottom of the Bundesliga.
Having lost their first four Bundesliga games of the 2022/23 campaign, Bochum are desperate for points, with Sport Bild reporting that Reis will be given two games to turn things around and get the team back on track

An extension of Reis’ current deal, which expires in 2023, looks “as good as impossible” due to deep rifts between the coach and the club management, per the report.

When asked about his contract situation earlier this month, Reis said:

“As of now, I am looking for a job from July 1, 2023. Everything is open from my side.”
