Premier League side Bournemouth are set to scout Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye in the league game against Torino today.
TuttoSport, via TMW, have reported that the Nigerian has attracted a lot of attention from clubs and Bournemouth are one club who are pursuing his signature.
Tiago Pinto, who was at Roma, is following the Serie A with keen interest and he is the backer behind the mission for Okoye. Bournemouth want a new goalkeeper and they find Kepa’s asking price to be too expensive, as of now. That is why they’re looking at other names to fill a potential vacancy for the summer.
Udinese take on Torino later today and emmissaries from the Cherries will watch that tie and keep a close eye on Okoye. The 25-year-old is on their shortlist and he is rated highly for his athletecism between the sticks and these characteristics have impressed Bournemouth a lot.
