Paul Heyman Betrays CM Punk and Roman Reigns in WrestleMania 41 Main Event

Paul Heyman turned his back on CM Punk and Roman Reigns in night one’s WrestleMania 41 main event to align with Seth Rollins.

The drama heading into the triple-threat match at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, has surrounded Heyman and his relationships with Punk and Reigns. He owed Punk a favour for several months after asking for his help at Survivor Series and the Second City Saint chose to make his longtime friend his manager for the Mania war.

Heyman marched Punk to the ring but looked indecisive throughout the match, especially when Punk and Reigns hit near falls on one another. He took matters into his own hands by grabbing a steel chair before betraying both of his supposed.

Heyman looked to have sided with Punk over Reigns by offering him the chair until he got into the ring and snuck up behind him and hit a low blow. It should be noted that the former ECW head booker looked regretful when striking the Best in the World, but that wasn’t the case with Reigns.

The Wiseman handed the chair to Reigns, and they made their way towards a helpless Rollins, only for another low blow to be delivered. This time, there was no remorse on his face as he wore a wicked grin before Rollins hit the Tribal Chief with chair shots similar to the one that broke up the Shield.

Rollins sealed the win by pinning Reigns, and he celebrated alongside Heyman before heading down the ramp. It appears the Visionary has a wise man to do his bidding for him now.
