Sport1’s Patrick Berger reports this evening that Bayer Leverkusen’s first proposal to Inter for Robin Gosens (28) is €2m to sign the German defender on loan with a €25m obligation to buy.
Devin Özek, assistant to Simon Rolfes and Tim Steidten, is in Milan to negotiate the deal. After signing Callum Hudson-Odoi on a season-long loan from Chelsea on Tuesday, B04 are still in the market for a left-back and a number six. As reported on Friday, Leverkusen had submitted an offer to Real Madrid legend Marcelo, who is currently a free agent.
Gosens has featured in all three Serie A games for Inter this season and is in the squad for tonight’s game against Cremonese.
Should Gosens leave for Germany, Inter will look at signing Stuttgart’s Borna Sosa (24), who has entered the final year of his contract. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Italian side has already presented VfB with an offer for the Croatian left-back, who alongside Saša Kalajdžić, could leave the Bundesliga with hours remaining.
