Everton manager Frank Lampard could use his contacts at Chelsea and speak to Armando Broja himself in a bid to bring the striker to Goodison Park, claims transfer insider Dean Jones.
The 20-year-old impressed during his loan spell at Southampton this season, and Jones thinks he could now become a target for the Toffees.
What is the latest news involving Broja?
According to GOAL, West Ham, Newcastle United, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Napoli are all chasing Broja’s signature.
This comes after a season where the Albanian found the back of the net nine times in 38 appearances, with one of those strikes coming against Tottenham. For his age, and given that it was his first full campaign of senior football in England, it is not the worst return.
Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl made it clear that he wanted to keep hold of Broja, but a recent farewell message on Instagram suggests that he will not be coming back to St Mary’s.
While several clubs are allegedly interested in the £34m-rated centre-forward, a Chelsea stay cannot be ruled out, with Thomas Tuchel confirming that he will return for pre-season and have the chance to impress.

What has Jones said about Broja and Everton?
While there has been a lot of speculation about West Ham being interested in Broja, Jones has his doubts and thinks Everton could be the club who go all out for the Albania international this summer.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the transfer insider said: “I’m not sure West Ham have got the interest that they had at one point, so I don’t think there’s the competition level there for Broja anymore.
“Lampard obviously can use his contacts to get into Broja early, speak to him himself, and just try and convince him that Everton is a club that’s going to be in transition but in a good way. That’s going to be the big message that they send out.”
Would Broja be a good signing for Everton?
Everton look a bit light up front, with the Toffees not having too many alternatives to Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Richarlison can, of course, play there, but Lampard has also used him on the left this season. When Calvert-Lewin is fit, you would expect that to be the common theme.
It leaves Salomon Rondon as the only other real option, and he has really struggled since arriving at Everton last August after scoring just once in 20 league appearances.
Therefore, if there is a chance for Lampard to reunite with Broja at Goodison Park this summer, the Merseyside club have to try and make it happen.
