Paris Saint-Germain head to Birmingham this Tuesday with a significant 3-1 lead already secured at the Parc des Princes last week. The feeling in the French capital is that Les Parisiens already have one foot in the semi-finals of the Champions League, bit a contigent of 2,300 will reportedly make the journey to England this week to pack out the away stand at Villa Park on Tuesday evening (21:00). This is according to a report from RMC Sport.
2,000 Villa supporters came along to the first-leg in Paris last week, with an extra 1,000 who reportedly travelled to the city without tickets. Half of Les Parisiens’ travelling supporters will be members of the Collectif Ultras Paris, who have been impressive on the road this season and travelling to European matches in their numbers.
Les Parisians find themselves in a commanding position to qualify for the semi-finals of the Champions League for two years running thanks to goals from Désiré Doué, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Nuno Mendes in the first leg last week at the Parc des Princes.
