At times linked with a move within the Bunddesliga, it appears as if 26-year-old Frankfurt attacking midfielder Ajdin Hrustic is set to continue his career abroad. Germany’s Sport Bild reports that Hrustic has a Tuesday medical set up with Serie A side Hellas Verona F.C.
After going to great lengths to force a transfer to the Bundesliga in the autumn of 2020, Hrustic never gained much traction under the coaching regimes of Adi Hütter and Oliver Glasner. Glasner did Hrustic something of an extended trail last season whilst the new SGE trainer attempted to sort his tactics out.
Since then, however, the Australian hasn’t played much of a role in the team. Hrustic will deapart Germany having scored three goals for the SGE in 39 appearances across all competitions. Sport Bild writes that Eintracht are set to collect a €500,000 transfer fee for the player. He maintains an estimated market value of €3 million in the latest transfermarkt listings.
