According to reports in Brazil, as per GOAL, In statements given to both law enforcement and the press, Ferrari detailed a disturbing seven-month relationship with the 38-year-old footballer, which she alleges took a deeply troubling turn in December 2024. According to her account, following a heated dispute, Payet began subjecting her to a series of degrading and dehumanising acts. She claims these included being coerced into drinking her own urine, consuming water from a toilet, and licking the floor.

Speaking to Brazilian outlet AFP, Ferrari stated: “I want justice because he abused my psychological vulnerability to gain sexual advantage. He demanded proof of love from me, which consisted of humiliation. I recorded videos in which I drank my urine, drank water from the toilet bowl, and licked the floor. I’m a lawyer, I would never have made such serious complaints lightly.”

According to the police report, Larissa also alleged that Payet physically assaulted her, resulting in visible injuries across her body. It has been confirmed that an investigation is ongoing, but as of the time of writing, no charges have been brought forward against the former French international.

Ferrari would go on to write a further statement, detailing her side of the affair, which is claimed to have began in August 2024.

“One thing I want to make clear is that it was never about money. There was no need for it,” the 28-year-old stated. “There’s not much I can say because there’s no explanation or anything to justify it. In fact, the last time I went to Rio, I went by bus.

“Our intention, initially, wasn’t for us to become so attached to each other, but we ended up getting very involved. We got very close because I got divorced and he gets lonely a lot too. With so much closeness, the meetings became more frequent. I would go to Dimitri’s house every 12 days or so, and stay for three or four days. He has also always been very affectionate towards me, both in person and through messages. And with so much affection exchanged, it was impossible not to become attached to each other.”

Payet is yet to respond publicly to the allegations made against him, and as of yet, has not been punished by Vasco da Gama, who are set to face off against Sport Club do Recife on the 13th April.
