SC Freiburg defender Kiliann Sildillia is being linked with a move to the English Premier League.
According to TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey, the 22-year-old is being monitored by Manchester City and Liverpool, with the Premier League giants having watched him on more than one occasion in recent weeks.
Aston Villa and Brighton & Hove Albion are also interested in Sildillia, according to the report.
The 22-year-old began the season behind Lukas Kübler in the pecking order and came close to joining Olympique Marseille, but the move fell through.
Wolfsburg were interested in signing him in the winter, but he remained at Freiburg.
When Kübler was forced to sit out with an infection in February, Sildillia seized his chance and has been in the starting eleven for Freiburg ever since.
Capable of playing at right-back or centre-back, the 22-year-old has one year left on his contract with Freiburg.
