Bayer Leverkusen are looking to strengthen at the back, with Jonathan Tah expected to leave on a free this summer when his contract expires.
One of the names mentioned as a possible replacement for Tah is FC Lugano’s Albian Hajdari.
It appears that Leverkusen wouldn’t have to dig deep into their pockets to sign the 21-year-old, with Swiss publication 4-4-2 reporting that he is available for just €5 million this summer due to a release clause.
According to Sky Germany, Die Werkself have already held preliminary talks over a possible move for the Swiss international.
Leverkusen have also been linked with a number of other centre-backs, including AC Milan’s Malick Thiaw and Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior.
