Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly once again looking north to Scandinavia for a long-term midfield boost. The successful development of young Swedish midfield talent Hugo Larsson may have influenced the pursuit of 16-year-old Swedish attacking midfielder Love Arrhov. Sweden’s Expressen reports that the Bundesliga outfit are set to wrap up a €4.6m deal by the end of the week.
Reliable German sources are also confirming the imminent arrival of the IF Brommapojkarna player.
Eintracht Frankfurt want to strengthen defence with Bochum’s Bernardo
In other Eintracht-related transfer news, the RheinMainAdler are also being linked with a pursuit of VfL Bochum defender Bernardo. Discussions involving the former RB Leipzig and Brighton & Hove Albion professional are certainly not new.
The Brazilian unfortunately saw potential moves to Borussia Mönchengladbach and Union Berlin fall through this autumn due to injury. Both clubs presumably remain interested in the 29-year-old, even if he has had more injury issues over the course of the season.
With an estimated market value of €5m, Bernardo, German defender Tim Oermann, and Malian international Ibrahima Sissoko are the most valuable members of Bochum’s current squad.
Sport Bild reports that Bernardo is among the Bochum players who will be available on a free in the event of the Revierklub’s relegation.
