The latest wave of ‘Goretzka fandom’ disrupted Bayern Munich’s closed training session this afternoon, local media TZ Munchen can report.
Despite being a session without public viewing, teenagers shouted Goretzka’s name across the Sabener Strasse grounds.
Security was required to intervene such was the noise that was created outside the premises.
The troublemakers roaring the 30-year-old midfielder’s name proceeded to run away shortly after.
Such behaviour seems to mimic the latest social media trend involving Goretzka and fans hollering his name at games or walking to and from the team bus.
Goretzka always appears to look unphased by the attention and takes it in his stride.
