Lazio are now planning to hand Sergej Milinkovic-Savic a new contract soon.
Milinkovic-Savic was linked with a move to Manchester United over the last couple of weeks and Juventus were also linked earlier in the window.
Daniele Longo has now reported that despite interest from United, Juve and Paris Saint-Germain, no offers have arrived for the Serbian. Claudio Lotito’s high valuation played a role in making sure that no negotiations were held.
Milinkovic-Savic though, has a real connection with Lazio and he has never thrown around tantrums to leave the club. He feels at home at the club, who are studying an offer for a new deal for the midfielder. He currently earns €3.2 million per season and Lazio would look to increase the salary. There is also a possibility of them adding a release clause in the player’s contract.
There seems to be a possibility of a renewal, as things stand.
