Paris Saint-Germain has long since been touted as a destination for Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah (32), however, Le Parisien understands that the Egyptian is no longer of interest to the Ligue 1 giants.
Salah’s future remains up in the air. His contract with Liverpool expires at the end of the season and the forward has previously alluded to this season being his last at Anfield. However, talks over a renewal are ongoing, despite the forward being able to sign a pre-contract agreement with another club.
According to Téléfoot, Salah’s wish is to remain at Liverpool beyond the end of his current deal and he is therefore not currently in talks with any other clubs. The club most frequently linked with a move for Salah, PSG, is now out of the running, as per Le Parisien.
The publication understands that the Egyptian’s profile no longer corresponds to what Luis Enrique and Luís Campos are looking for and therefore the long-running pursuit has come to an end.
