A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona will take to the pitch in the club’s next outing whilst in the thick of a fast.
That’s according to Marca, who point towards Lamine Yamal as the player in question.
Barcelona are of course primed to return to action on Tuesday night, in a Champions League 2nd-leg meeting with Portuguese heavyweights Benfica.
Wide-man Lamine, for his part, is set to feature from the off in the clash, from his customary berth on the right flank.
As alluded to above, though, the 17-year-old may will do so, from a physical standpoint at least, at something of a disadvantage.
As confirmed by Marca, owing to the early kick-off time scheduled in Catalunya’s capital tomorrow evening, Lamine will still be in a fasted state when the action gets underway:
‘Only seven minutes after kick-off, at 18:52, the last ray of sunlight is expected to set in Barcelona and only from then on will players be able to break their fast.’
Lamine, at this point, will not have taken food or water on board for 11 hours, expected to be afforded a much-needed meal at half-time at Montjuïc as a result.
