Bayern Munich are in no rush to offload Joao Palhinha, Sky journalist Florian Plettenberg understands.
Due to several unfortunate circumstances, the Portuguese midfielder’s move to the Bavarian giants as not lived up to lofty expectations.
However, the 29-year-old is refusing to give up and keen to fight through this tricky period while helping to claim silverware in the process.
Injuries in 2024 followed by illness in the new year added to last Saturday’s rash and reckless red card in Bayern’s 3-2 loss to Bochum highlight his troubles.
Only a few players are considered unsellable within Die Rekordmeister’s ranks – Palhinha is not one of them.
Ultimately, there have been no talks or offers made from other clubs and Bayern aren’t pushing for Palhinha’s sale.
The former Braga and Fulham player’s contract runs until 2028.
