Bayern Munich have been without Aleksandar Pavlovic for the last three games due to illness – and it looks like they will have to wait a little longer before welcoming back the central midfielder.
According to Munich-based publication Abendzeitung, the 20-year-old is suffering from a “massive viral infection” and will miss Germany’s UEFA Nations League games against Italy later this month.
The report claims that Bayern are now hoping to have Pavlovic back in training after the international break, but no exact date has been set for his return.
Aleksandar Pavlovic has made a total of 21 appearances for Bayern this season, scoring once and providing one assist.
The Bavarians face Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League on Tuesday and Union Berlin in the Bundesliga on Saturday before the international break.
