Five German teams – Bayern München, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt – were in the hat for Thursday’s Champions League group stage draw.
Bayern München, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt have discovered their opponents in the group stage of the 2022/23 Champions League campaign.
Bayern were handed a tough draw, with the German champions set to face Robert Lewandowski’s Barcelona, Inter and Viktoria Plzen.
Erling Haaland will also be reunited with his ex-team, as Borussia Dortmund were drawn against the Norwegian striker’s new club, Manchester City, as well as Sevilla and FC Copenhagen.
