Earlier this month, Bayern Munich announced that Jamal Musiala had signed a new long-term contract until 2030.
Negotiations between the Bavarians and Musiala had been going on for some time, but, as board member for sport Max Eberl has since revealed, the parties practically came to an agreement just after Christmas.
According to Fussball.news, there was a lot of interest in Jamal Musiala, who received lucrative offers from top clubs.
However, Musiala turned them all down as he wanted to focus on the negotiations with Bayern and see if they could come to an agreement first.
Much to the delight of both Bayern and Musiala, a mutually agreeable deal was struck, and the 21-year-old pledged his long-term future to the German giants.
