Moussa Dembélé could be the man to replace Alexander Isak at Real Sociedad, according to Marca.
The French striker’s Lyon contract expires in 2023 and his intention was to leave this summer.
Dembélé, who turned 26 on 12 July, scored 21 goals in Ligue 1 last season. In January 2021, he joined Atlético Madrid but the loan move ended in failure.
The forward made his Premier League debut at the age of 17 with Fulham, from where he was signed by Celtic. He has represented France at every youth level.
Having not renewed his contract with Lyon beyond 2023, it seems that the time has come again for Dembélé to move on. He has not played in the first two games of the 2022-23 season and has been linked with European clubs.
La Real could be Dembélé’s next destination, with Isak set to join Newcastle in a deal worth €70m.
