RB Leipzig have rejected a final offer from Bayern München for Konrad Laier, according to Bild.
Per the German tabloid, the Bavarians offered a guaranteed fee of €20 million plus €4 million in bonuses, but Leipzig wanted €30 million.
Leipzig coach Domenico Tedesco recently confirmed that Laimer would not be going to Bayern this summer.
“It’s understandable that Bayern wanted him, but we are keeping him,” he told reporters on Sunday.
Since Laimer is out of contract in 2023, Leipzig risk losing him on a free transfer next summer.
