Confirmed lineups: FC Copenhagen vs. Heidenheim

The lineups for the European Conference League first-leg tie between FC Copenhagen and 1 FC Heidenheim in Denmark are out.

Frank Schmidt frequently shuffled his side on European nights, and that continues with the decision not to register new signing Frans Krätzig for the knockout stages. Meanwhile, Jonas Föhrenbach is out after his early substitution in Freiburg due to concussion protocol.

The relegation-threatened Bundesliga side only keep captain Patrick Mainka from the starting lineup in their fourth competitive league defeat on Saturday. Paul Wanner returns to the lineup after coming off the bench in the last two Bundesliga games. 

This will be the first competitive game in 2025 for Copenhagen. After conceding four in a friendly against Superliga rivals AGF on Saturday, Borussia Dortmund-bound Diant Ramaj will hope for a much better outcome in his competitive debut. Meanwhile, Kevin Dicks, who will join Borussia Mönchengladbach in the summer, is suspended for accumulated yellow cards.
