When Castello Lukeba extended his contract with RB Leipzig until 2029 in October, a release clause worth €90 million for this summer was included in the deal, according to Sport Bild.
The report claims that the French centre-back and his agent are hoping that a top club will trigger the clause.
Real Madrid were reportedly interested in Lukeba last summer, and Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are also said to be keeping tabs on the higly-rated defender.
When fit, Lukeba has been a regular in Leipzig’s backline this season, making 18 appearances.
The France international moved to Germany from Olympique Lyon in 2023 for a reported fee of €30 million.
If he were to leave for €90 million, he would become Leipzig’s biggest joint sale alongside Josko Gvardiol, who was sold to Manchester City for exactly the same fee in 2023.
