Serie A struggles Monza are set to appoint former manager Alessandro Nesta as boss only weeks after his initial sacking.
The club find themselves at the 20th spot in Serie A and Salvatore Bochetti is in trouble after the 5-1 loss to Lazio yesterday afternoon.
He had replaced Nesta as manager and has managed only seven games. Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Bochetti is now set to be sacked and only an announcement is missing. Nesta is set to return and the announcement for his move will be made soon today.
Monza have not risen above the 20th spot under Bochetti despite some promising signs. They have won only once against Fiorentina, who have former boss Raffaele Palladino. The loss to Lazio was their fourth consecutive defeat and leaves them languishing close to relegation.
Nesta was sacked towards the end of December and he returns after less than two months.
